Administrative Law & Economic Regulations:
The firm provides: advice and representation in administrative hiring procedures (public biddings); advice to companies subject to intense regulation of their activities (public utilities); representation before regulatory authorities; guidance on urbanism matters and protection of the cultural heritage; representation in contentious-administrative legal actions before federal and provincial courts and courts of the City of Buenos Aires, including the Supreme Court of Justice of the Argentine Republic and courts having arbitral jurisdiction.

Corporate & M&A:
The firm advises on sophisticated local and international transactions; all corporate work ranging from M&A, due diligence audits, the creation of increasingly complex corporate structures, to everyday matters; negotiation and structuring of shareholders and operating agreements, planning and structuring of investments by foreign investors, including funding and investment by private equity funds; assistance on governmental approvals and requirements, as well as advising corporations in regulated markets. Teaming with other departments on matters related to banking and finance, capital markets, media and technology, venture capital, competition and antitrust, intellectual property, agribusiness, real estate and construction.

Capital Markets, Financial & Banking:
The firm advises on capital market transactions including equity offerings, tender offers and debt securities. It has deep experience in the banking industry, representing Argentine and foreign financial institutions in regulatory matters. Participation in the issuance of bonds, debt securities, corporate bonds and negotiable obligations and issuance of CED- EARs; sovereign debt; IPOs and follow-on in the issuance of shares; takeover processes (OPAs), voluntary or compulsory, and withdrawal from the public offering regime; financial leasing agreements; financial derivatives agreements; financial trusts with or without public offering and listing; structuring of syndicated secured and unsecured loans, both national and international; comprehensive advice connected to the regulations of the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic and mutual funds.

Competition/Antitrust:
General and preventative advice on antitrust practices or conduct forbidden by Act 25, 156 (unilateral practices or exclusive group of markets and/or groups for impeding entry of third-party competitors, agreements with binding features, fixing of predatory prices, price discrimination, abuse of dominant position, exclusionary or exploiter practices); advice and representation on pre-merger control procedures before the regulatory authorities of Act 25, 156; company advice and representation in administrative or judicial processes due to the investigation of cartels and antitrust practices. Specialists in domestic trade regulations: consumer defence; antitrust and unfair competition; law of supply and regulations applicable to economy sectors.

International Trade:
A wide experience in matters connected to this field especially in the application of bilateral or multilateral international trade treaties both within the Southern Common Market and in regulations referred to the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Within the WTO and the MERCOSUR, the firm has participated in anti-dumping investigations, safeguards and benefits brought by the Argentine Republic against third party exports. Amendments of extra zone external duties by the different MERCOSUR technical committees; implementation of technical barriers in the different markets - obstacles to free trade; import of used capital assets; registration of companies before the Industry Secretariat and the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Argentine Republic in order to obtain permits for the import and export of products.

Labour & Employment Law:
Tanoira Cassagne’s labour and employment department has a large practice in individual and collective labour law. The team is best known for its advice in labour conflicts, complex labour trials, compensation programs, negotiation with unions, stock option plans, and restructuration procedures. The team has also a wide experience in expatriates programs, stock option plans, international staff, compensation of managers and directors, conflicts with unions collective bargaining agreements, discrimination claims, etc. The firm gives advice to several companies in trade union conflicts, negotiations of collective bargaining agreements and represented companies in very sophisticated labour lawsuits (i.e. discrimination, expatriate claims, members of the board of directors, etc).

Litigation & Arbitration:
