■ Acted for Castleford Investment Holdings Limited in acquisitions of Rorank Business SC’s shares
■ Acted for Heineken International BV in its acquisitions of two government owned breweries in Ethiopia
■ Advised 8 Miles with its various acquisitions in Ethiopia including regulatory; antitrust regulations.
■ Advises BGI in various acquisitions in the brewery sector

Banking & Finance:
■ Loan financing agreement amounting to 90 million Euros between KKR and IFC in acquisition of Sher Ethiopia
■ Advises IFC on trade financing
■ Advised Master Card on Ethiopian law matters including electronic payment and banking regulations

■ Acted as local counsel to Agence Française de Development (AFD) on the Credit Facility Agreement entered into between AFD and the Ethiopian Electric and Power Corporation for the Ashegoda Wind Farm Project

■ Served as local counsel for Bear Sterns in financing transaction of the acquisition by Blackstone of the Hilton Hotels

■ Represented a leading newspaper in Addis Ababa against a defamation damages claim for over 20 million birr, the largest ever claim in the history of the media industry in Ethiopia
■ Represented a private company in a multibillion US dollars arbitration proceeding against the government of Ethiopia in an arbitration proceeding involving oil and gas before the ICC, Geneva
