■Represented clients in breach of contract and Washington State Securities Act claims against health clinic; obtained judgment of over $33 million after arbitration that was confirmed by the court

Real Estate & Capital Markets:
The real estate and capital markets group provides legal services across the entire life cycle of a real estate project, including due diligence, acquisition, financing, leasing and sale. The team also advises on entity formation, including the organization and operation of joint ventures, real estate investment trusts and other investment vehicles. They routinely advise owners, landlords, developers and lenders with regard to office, multi-family, mixed-use, industrial and hotel assets in all major United States markets.
■Represented the joint venture and its foreign pension fund investor in the acquisition, development and financing of a 770,000 square foot mixed-use project in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, which includes 565 residential units, 8,400 square feet of retail space and 387 underground parking spaces
■Represented the joint venture developer in connection with the acquisition, construction and leasing of the mixed-use transit-oriented project surrounding the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station in Seattle, Washington. McNaul drafted and negotiated all major deal documents, including acquisition agreements, ground leases, development agreements, construction contracts and retail leases
■Assisted a foreign investor with its joint venture investment with a Canadian developer in a $330 Million condominium project in downtown Seattle
