Banking & Finance: 

Lawyers at DB&GTS routinely advise on banking and financing transaction involving foreign banks and multinational institutions. Zoljargal Dashnyam assisted on the establishment of the representative offices of ING Bank N.V and the Standard Chartered Bank in Mongolia. The firm’s recent notable works include representation of JP Morgan Chase, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Organization, Asian Development Bank, VTB Commodities Trading DAC in a bilateral and multilateral financing transactions involving commercial banks, state development bank, petroleum traders, food and beverage companies of Mongolia.

Capital Markets: 

DB&GTS stands out in the market on its capital markets deal experience and capabilities. Zoljargal has advised on the Trade and Development Bank ('TDB')'s bond issuance in 2008, which marks the first ever international capital markets transaction out of Mongolia. Since then, the firm has been advising the international underwriters in all of TDB’s as well as Mongolia’s sovereign and semi-sovereign bond issuances on the international capital markets. The firm is currently engaged to act for a major state owned mining company on its international and domestic IPO.

Mining:  

The firm has extensive experience in mining. Zoljargal and the team advised on the combined heat and power plant project from the procurement through concession and PPA signing. The team has recently helped Akuo Energy LLC on its acquisition of solar power project in Mongolia.
