Bannaga & Fadlabi LLP operates as a limited partnership established by enterprising young lawyers with the objective of modernizing the legal landscape in Sudan. Historically, the legal practice in the country has been characterized by individual lawyers operating from modest offices, which has resulted in challenges for aspiring professionals in securing meaningful career opportunities and has contributed to limited competition within a stagnant legal services sector. In response to these challenges and in light of the 2014 amendments to the Advocacy Act, the partners determined to create a pioneering law firm managed by a team of youthful lawyers in Khartoum.

Since its inception in 2014, B&F has experienced substantial growth, developing a distinguished clientele and providing specialized legal counsel. In a relatively short period, the firm has successfully represented a diverse array of entities, including corporations, international investors, multinational organizations, and international non-governmental organizations across various sectors such as mining, agriculture, telecommunications, infrastructure, construction, education, employment, and health care.
