Azman Davidson & Co. ("ADC") is a full-service legal firm founded in 1981. One of the founders is Dato' W S W Davidson ("Dato' Davidson") who started in its predecessor firm in Ipoh, Perak, was a pioneer in supporting the tin mining industry and later in ADC's Kuala Lumpur practice when the centre of gravity of business shifted to the Klang Valley and the economy attained an unprecedented liveliness. Eventually, Dato' Davidson, ever the visionary began looking for full-time lawyers with additional ares of expertise in non-legal disciplines. Corporate Litigation, Restructuring and Insolvency: We are well placed to assist our clients in corporate restructuring, insolvency, bankruptcy, receivership and liquidation matters. Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate: We advice clients in their day-to-day operations and commercial transactions from legal aspect. Our scope of work includes conducting due diligence, preparing and reviewing commercial contracts, preparing and reviewing internal policies and advising on compliance issues including data protection. Our teams are also experienced in advising on the Initial Public Offerings on the Main Market, ACE Market and LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia exercise and other corporate exercises such as M&A transactions and Sale of Business transactions.

Employment and Industrial Relations: We represent clients who are both employers and employees. Our advice includes contracts of employment, employment and professional visit passes, employment handbooks, disciplinary action against employees, the termination of employment for misconduct or poor performance or redundancy, Employee Provident Fund ("EPF") and Social Security Organisation ("SOCSO") contributions, union recognition and collective agreements, voluntary separation schemes, the closure of businesses and the change of ownership of businesses and employment issues arising from business reorganisation, retrenchment and related matters.

Insurance: ADC's practice in insurance comprises of advisory work and representation in litigation and arbitration involving most categories of insurance, including fire, industrial all risks, machinery breakdown, business interruption, contractors all risks, marine, aviation and motor insurance. We render advice to international and local insurance companies on regulatory approvals, mergers and compliance issues. We have acted for our clients in proceedings of coverage and avoidance disputes based on non-disclosure and misrepresentation.
