The Competition: EU section ranks lawyers and law firms based on their recent work in competition law matters before the European Commission. This section covers merger clearance matters, foreign direct investment filings and foreign subsidy regulation mandates, as well as behavioural investigations into allegations of abuse of dominance or cartel involvement. It also covers the representation of clients in appeals against decisions, including before the CJEU. There are separate tables for lawyers specialised in state aid matters and for lawyers and law firms representing clients before the Belgian Competition Authority.
