Represented a leading P&I Club in handling a series of ship collision damage liability disputes and pollution damage compensation disputes arising from the collision between the m.t. “S” and m.v. “CF” (involving a total amount exceeding CNY 2 billion)
Represented a Chinese insurance company in successfully concluding the case concerning the seawater flooding accident on the “ZJ” offshore wind power installation platform (involving a total claim amount exceeding CNY 200 million)
Represented a leading PCTC shipowner, as the plaintiff, in filing a series of lawsuits in Chinese courts against shipyards and suppliers for compensation of tortious damages caused by product quality defects
Conducted an independent maritime accident investigation in Fiji Islands on the capsize of the tuna fishing boat “R26”
Represented a Chinese insurance company in the compensation matter relating to the collision between m.v. “YA” and m.v “SQ2” in the Yangtze River which caused the deaths of 10 crew members
Represented a state-owned waterway engineering company in successfully handling a dispute over dredging contracts
Represented a Chinese insurance company in an insurance contract dispute concerning insured goods that were stolen and robbed in Mexico, and successfully obtained winning judgments in the Supreme People’s Court
Represented a Greek client and its P&I club for advised on a new building project which consists of 4 bulkers with tonnage of 84,000 and is carried out by a Chinese shipyard located in Nanjing, China
Advised a shipyard in Jiangsu Province on newbuilding projects involving bulk carriers, multipurpose/special-purpose vessels, oil tankers and chemical tankers, including commercial negotiations and shipbuilding contract review
Advised a financial leasing company in a ship financing project (with loan amount of about RMB 200 million)
Represented a large shipping company in a series of legal actions in China for recovering stolen money by its own staff
Represented a large Korean shipbuilder and advised in a series of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to the bankruptcy of its associated Chinese company
Represented a major overseas copper mining company in a dispute with a Chinese state-owned bank concerning the collection of payments under an international trade transaction
