She is noted for her ability to deal with legally complex issues while communicating with clients in a clear and straightforward manner. She adopts a collegiate approach, delivering best outcomes for all stakeholders.

Career

Over her 35 year career, Yvonne has demonstrated extensive experience in advising on specialist Scottish aspects of restructurings and insolvencies in relation to UK based and international businesses.

Her sectoral experience includes energy, education, football clubs, law firms, manufacturing, aviation, care sector, manufacturing, hospitality and leisure and utilities. She has a particular interest in assisting owner managed SMEs developing collaborative relationships with boards and stakeholders. In addition, she enjoys working with highly regulated businesses such as energy and the care sector, balancing sometimes complex regulatory structures with achieving the best possible commercial outcome.

She has won the Best Professional in Business at the Scottish Women in Business Awards and currently is the convenor of the Law Society of Scotland Insolvency Specialism Committee.

She also a Board member of Quarriers and a member of the Quarriers Audit Committee.
