Yalın Akmenek is the head of Dispute Resolution practice at Esin Attorney Partnership, member firm of Baker & McKenzie International, a Swiss Verein.
For many years Yalın has been (and currently is) consistently recognized in Türkiye by various international directories. He is one of the few individually and consistently ranked dispute partners in Türkiye; particularly known for handling disputes with an international element or disputes arising from complex commercial transactions.
His practice is mostly focused on commercial and capital markets disputes, with a specific focus on shareholder and M&A disputes, and he represents clients before both Turkish courts and arbitral tribunals. Yalın has solid experience for nearly 20 years concerning Turkish clients' disputes outside of Türkiye as well.
Prior to joining the Firm, Yalın was the sole leader of all the dispute operations of White & Case Türkiye for a substantial period. He is one of the most recognized names in the market and has a very solid track record. Therefore, his joining to our ranks has been a “consolidation like no other.
