William S. Weltman

Will represents private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a diverse array of industries, including companies focused on food, consumer and industrial product manufacturing and distribution. For many companies, Will supplies end-to-end counsel – from first avoiding litigation, through trial and eventual appeal if the matter requires litigation.

Will has substantial experience in the hospitality industry, working on a variety of domestic commercial disputes that sometimes involve parties from Asia or the European Union. He advised a leading hotel brand on a variety of commercial disputes and oversaw outside counsel on some of the brand’s litigation and arbitration. He then represented the same client in a complex international arbitration dispute. Will often works on distribution and supply agreements, hospitality agreements and matters involving trade secrets, in the hospitality industry.

Because of his varied experiences and adaptability, several clients also have entrusted Will with their trust and estate disputes.
