Dr. Wessel Heukamp advises financial sponsors and corporate clients on complex transactions. He advises clients across a wide range of industries, with particular experience in insurance and other financial services.

Wessel draws on deep transactional experience and close relationships with key market participants to guide financial investors, private equity sponsors, and strategic corporates on high-stakes German and cross-border transactions involving:

Before joining Latham, Wessel was a partner at another global law firm. He is an honorary professor at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich.
