Wayne’s practice for 35 years has been complex business litigation in trial and appellate courts. In the past year his practice has included two jury trials in corporate governance and control cases, and the bench trial of a high-profile lawyer discipline matter. Wayne regularly represents businesses and business owners in cases involving contract disputes and business torts. He is often called on to represent investor-owned utilities and their affiliates in litigation, and to defend large law firms against professional liability claims. Wayne enjoys trying business cases before juries.
Wayne is a founding partner of Hoover Hull Turner, LLP. He previously managed the litigation department of a regional law firm. Wayne attended the Indiana University McKinney School of Law where he served as an Editor of the Indiana Law Review, was Order of the Coif, Order of the Barristers, and graduated magna cum laude.
Wayne regularly presents to members of the Bar on topics related to business litigation and trial practice. He enjoys teaching at seminars presented by NITA and has participated multiple times on NITA’s faculty for its national trial program.
An active participant in the American, Indiana, and Indianapolis Bar Associations, as well as the Seventh Circuit Bar Association.
