Work Highlights

Waleed’s work highlights include advising the Government of Kuwait on the $85 billion development of Madinat al-Hareer (Silk City), a 450-square-kilometre project encompassing residential, leisure, commercial, and industrial components with significant infrastructure. He represented The Arab Contractors Company before the Ministry of Public Works in Kuwait for the Jahra Road rehabilitation project, valued over KD 50 million. Waleed successfully defended a Kuwait-based investment company against a shareholder’s claim to set aside a sale of shares to a third party. He represented Honda Motor Company in litigation cases with their local distributor and agent, and Ford Motor Company in registering a new commercial agent and defending claims by Arabian Motors Group. Waleed also represented Daimler AG in its dispute regarding its Kuwaiti agency. Additionally, he acted for Massaleh Real Estate Company in a dispute with Tourism Enterprises over compensation related to the Corniche Club.
