Vlad Stănese is Managing Partner at Dincă & Speciac and also co-heads the IP practice. His focus is trademark, copyright, and design, primarily for clients in FMCG and entertainment. He took on management of the firm's prosecution operations in 2020 and has since developed into one of the most recognised trademark practitioners of his generation in Romania, noted by World Trademark Review 1000 as the youngest IP lawyer in Romania to earn individual recognition in that directory.

His copyright practice runs parallel to his trademark work and covers a similar set of industries — entertainment, media, streaming, and FMCG. He has acted for major international clients including HBO and Universal Music in trademark filings, opposition proceedings, and enforcement matters. He represented Renault in an infringement dispute against spare part distributors in Romania — a matter combining trademark enforcement with the specific legal questions that arise when branded parts enter a secondary market through channels outside the manufacturer's control.

Vlad has also been coordinating several high-impact criminal and civil cases involving trademark and copyright infringement, which he has noted publicly are cases he expects to shape Romanian case law.
