Ulrike Sehrschön heads EY Law Austria’s Public Procurement & Public Law practice and is widely recognised for her expertise in public law, regulatory compliance, EU law, administrative law and public procurement. She advises public authorities and highly regulated industries on energy regulation, utilities, digitalisation of public services, data protection, pharmaceutical and health regulation, facilities and commercial regulation, as well as banking and capital markets supervisory law. In procurement, she guides contracting authorities through EU-wide tendering, strategic procurement design, tender structuring and review proceedings, and represents bidders in procurement challenges and administrative review cases. Since joining EY Law with her team in 2024, she has strengthened the firm’s footprint in regulated sectors, infrastructure projects, innovation-driven public sector transformation and complex multi jurisdictional compliance.
Before joining EY Law, she led the Public Procurement Desk and co-headed the Public Law Desk at a prominent Austrian firm. Her previous roles include work at leading commercial law firms, advising the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce, and serving as a lawyer at the Austrian Federal Procurement Agency, giving her deep insight into public sector governance, state aid frameworks and administrative procedure. She studied law at the University of Graz.
