Tyler Savage

Tyler Savage is a partner in the M&A and Corporate Transactions group, with nearly 25 years of experience. Tyler is known for his strong understanding of his client’s legal and business needs and pragmatic advice in a broad range of areas.

Tyler serves as outside counsel to several businesses (both public and private) in industries including beverage and alcohol manufacturers and distributors, sports franchises, technology and software companies, manufacturing and industrial companies, construction materials companies and professional service providers. Tyler is responsible for leading NP teams in various merger, acquisition, securities, joint venture, and private equity transactions.

Career

Tyler has represented companies of all stages in various verticals as well as the venture and private equity funds that invest in them. In addition to his transactional practice, Tyler advises domestic and foreign companies on a variety of sophisticated day-to-day corporate legal matters such as agreements with vendors, suppliers, executives and employees and those concerning manufacturing and research and development.

Over the past several years, I have lead and assisted on transactions with an aggregate value of several billion dollars across a variety of industries, with deal sizes ranging from less than $5 million to more than $1.5 billion.

Professional Memberships

Tyler is a board member and audit committee member of both Campus Auxiliary Services, Inc. at the State University of New York at Geneseo and a member for the New York State, Seventh Judicial District Attorney Grievance Committee. Tyler is a former board member of the Bivona Child Advocacy Center and Resolve of Greater Rochester, Inc. In the past, Tyler was a committee member of the Business Law Section of the Monroe County Bar Association and a volunteer for the Literacy for Life program. Tyler is a member of the American, New York State and Monroe County bar associations.

Personal

Tyler is a dual citizen of the United States and Canada.
