Career
She graduated from the University of Essex in 2000 (LLB) and received her master’s degree from the University of Bristol in 2001 (LLM). She became a member of Cyprus Bar Association in 2002. In 2002 she became an associate at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC, in 2007 she became a partner at Michael Kyprianou & Co LLC and she heads the Banking & Finance Department and the Corporate Department of the Limassol office. Tonia is also a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Tonia concentrates on corporate, commercial and finance law by representing international corporations and financial institutions since 2002. Often instructed by Magic Circle firms and acts for international banks in relation to finance transactions and security agreements, she is frequently involved in ship and aviation finance, corporate and company law including reorganisations and M&A and regulated markets law. Tonia also has an extensive experience on private client law matters.

• Handles high-profile cases involving banking and finance, corporate and commercial, real estate and construction as well as transactions involving private clients. She works closely with high net worth individuals and assists them in structuring and managing their private wealth.
