Todd Sullivan has practiced patent law for more than 25 years, prosecuting patents and trademarks as well as litigating IP and negotiating agreements. Todd manages nearly 1000 active US trademarks in his portfolio. He has worked with applicants from more than 30 countries to bring their patents to grant in the US. While representing non-US clients, Todd works to provide the level of service and fee parameters that the client expects from its local counsel, whether working directly for the client or through local counsel.

Todd studied electrical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, graduating with a bachelor's degree in science. Worked in industry for two years while attending WPI. Completed law school at Franklin Pierce Law Center earning both a Juris Doctor and Master of Laws. Joined a general practice firm in New Hampshire upon graduating and moved to Hayes Soloway PC, an IP boutique, in 2003. Briefly served as Adjunct Professor at Franklin Pierce Law Center teaching in a patent claim drafting class. Elevated to Managing Partner in 2006. Worked to grow the firm patent prosecution practice from 77 US patents issued in 2007 to 276 US patents issued in 2019. More recently, Todd has worked to develop the litigation practice, handling litigation matters in New Hampshire, California, Colorado, Georgia and Massachusetts.
Todd is married with four children. Todd's wife, Alexa, works in the accounting department at Hayes Soloway PC.
Todd volunteers his time for various youth causes, serving for a number of years on the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua board and then the Nashua Youth Soccer League board, as well as coaching youth soccer, judging youth law and technology competitions, and serving on the NH Soccer League disciplinary committee.
In his free time, Todd enjoys exercise and travel. After a 34-year hiatus, Todd resumed playing soccer in 2019 and enjoys running and hiking. Todd has visited more than a dozen countries, regularly mixing visits to clients and counsel with his excursions.
