Thamer is a Partner and Head of Corporate Commercial team at SASLO.
Thamer is an experienced Omani lawyer in banking & finance, corporate finance, capital market, corporate structures, M&A and setting up of various types of companies. Thamer holds an LLB from Sharjah University and an LLM in International Corporate Finance from the University of Reading, UK.
He is experienced in legal drafting in both English and Arabic particularly in the fields of Banking, Capital Markets, Company/Commercial, M&A, IPP & IWP and Electricity Law.
He is also a member of the Dispute Resolution team advising and representing a range of international, Gulf and Omani clients in many aspects e.g. Commercial and Civil Law, Banking Law, Capital Market Law, Land Law and Customs Law, and frequently appears before the Primary and Appeal court of Oman in addition to arbitral tribunals.
