Takafumi Goto

Practice Areas

Since joining Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, Takafumi is a member of Capital Markets Group and M&A Group, and is familiar with securities laws (e.g., Financial Instruments and Exchange Act of Japan and related regulation).

In Capital Markets, Takafumi has been mainly involved in Global IPO, Global PO, Euro CB, Rights Offering, Third-party Allotments, and other domestic and cross-border stock investment deals to Japanese companies.

In M&A, he has also advised clients in transactions mainly related to listed stocks such as TOBs and other deals to acquire or dispose of listed stock.

Recently, he also advises as to disclosure of sustainability information such as climate change and biodiversity.
