Career

Tacio Lacerda Gama is a Brazilian Lawyer specialized in Tax Law, with large experience in tax litigation and consultancy in domestic and international tax matters. He has an active engagement in Brazilian main tax issues in the last decade and has led several leading cases before Supreme Courts and Administrative Federal Court.

He is the founding partner of Lacerda Gama Law Firm.

He graduated from Federal University of Bahia Law School – UFBA (Bachelor's degree), with specialization in tax law at Brazilian Institute of Tax Studies – IBET, Master’s, and PhD at Catholic University of São Paulo - PUC-SP. Since 2000, he build up a steady academic activity. Currently, he is a Professor of Tax Law, Theory of Law and Deontic Logic at PUC-SP and IBET.
