Suzanne is a full-time commercial mediator with over 20 years’ experience of dealing with and resolving high-value, multi-jurisdictional, cross-border, commercial disputes both domestically and internationally.
Suzanne’s mediation appointments tend to reflect her litigation expertise, and she is regularly appointed to assist with disputes relating to banking and finance, contentious insolvency, shareholders, JVs, partnerships, property and general commercial matters.

Career
Suzanne is a CEDR accredited commercial mediator. She previously practiced as a commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyer at Hogan Lovells where she worked for over 14 years. During her time at the firm, she completed a 6-month secondment to the New York office, in 2006, and a 6-month secondment to the Group Litigation team, in the London headquarters of Standard Chartered Bank, in 2011.

Suzanne writes and speaks regularly on mediation and gives masterclasses to lawyers, business people and other professionals in mediation skills and using mediation effectively for their disputes.
Personal
2005: Joined Lovells as a trainee, completing seats in Capital Markets, Dispute Resolution, M&A (NY) & Banking.
2007: Admitted as a solicitor in England & Wales and qualified into commercial litigation at Lovells.
2010: Obtained higher rights of audience.
2018: Accredited as a Commercial mediator with CEDR.
2019: Accredited as Community Mediator with CALM.
2021: Yale University Certificate in Negotiation.
