Practice Areas
Susan heads the firm's national pension and benefits practice and is co-head of the employment services practice group. She advises corporations and other organisations on issues relating to plan governance, administration and compliance, pension fund investment and fiduciary duties. She also advises on pension and benefit issues arising in corporate reorganisations, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as insolvencies and restructurings.

Admitted to the Ontario bar, 1987.
Personal
Susan is the author of the Pensions volume of Halsbury's Laws of Canada (First Edition) and is currently at work on a reissue of this publication. She is also the lead author of the chapter on the duties of directors in the pension context in the book, Directors' Duties in Canada (7th Edition). She has been an instructor in the Osgoode Professional Development Certificate Program in Pension Law program since its inception and is a frequent contributor to an online digital publication for the benefits industry as a member of its expert panel.
