Stuart’s practice has included trials, appeals and arbitrations across the United States. He has served as lead counsel in successfully defending class actions and other cases for Fortune 500 companies in many industries and involving a wide variety of statutory and common law claims. On the plaintiffs’ side, Stuart has served as co-lead counsel in antitrust and securities representations that have recovered over $1 billion for corporate and individual clients. Stuart has successfully argued appeals in the 2nd, 5th, 9th, 10th and 11th Circuit Courts of Appeal, and in the Florida Supreme Court.
Stuart serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and is an administrative partner for the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.

Stuart received his BS and MA from Northwestern University (1978) and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School (1981). He serves as the board chair for the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues and is a member of the board for the Holocaust Documentation & Education Center.
