Heimdal specialises in construction law and has extensive experience of contract negotiations, project support, risk management and dispute resolution in the building and construction sector. This includes various types of partnering models. He has considerable experience of dispute resolution and in-court advocacy, and has represented clients in both the district and appeal courts.
Heimdal previously worked as a lawyer with the construction companies AF Gruppen and Veidekke Entreprenør, during which time he provided legal assistance on a wide range of large and complex building and construction projects. At the same time, he gained considerable insight into the technical and commercial challenges facing the sector.
