Practice Areas
Stephen has a wealth of experience in major development projects, including where these involve setting up corporate joint ventures. He acts for Watford Borough Council on the Town Hall Quarter regeneration scheme, to be delivered by a joint venture between the Council and the successful developer appointed by way of competitive process, and for Winchester City Council on the Central Winchester Regeneration scheme, a mixed use development in the historic centre. He also acts for Kent County Council on the outsourcing (by competitive tender) of its hard and soft facilities management services (county-wide) and for Manchester City Council on its civic quarter district heating project. Stephen was member of our team advising the London Borough of Sutton on the acquisition of the St Nicholas Shopping Centre, and the London Borough of Bromley on its joint venture with Orchard and Shipman to acquire over 200 street properties to deal with homelessness.
