Sten Bauer is an experienced Employment Law and M&A lawyer having been a partner of the global lawfirm Baker McKenzie in Stockholm office for almost 20 years. Recently, Sten joined the boutique lawfirm Ghatan Bauer and has since then focused on employment law. Sten has advised a wide range of industry clients within two areas of law, one being Mergers & Acquisitions, where he has represented a number of prominent companies in private transactions. The other within the areas of general employment law including executive recruitment terminations, employment benefits as well as collective redundancies and labor litigation. Sten has been recognised as a leading lawyer by several directories including Legal 500 and Chambers. Sten is a member of and active within the Swedish Bar Association, inter alia, as a member of the Disciplinary Committee, by giving seminars on Rules of Conduct and also as examiner in connection with bar examinations. Sten has also acted as arbitrator and secretary in arbitration panels both ad hoc and organized under the Chamber of Stockholm arbitration.
