Practice Areas
Stan represents electric utilities and other electric industry participants in complex high-stakes litigation and appeals at FERC, state regulatory commissions, and in the courts. An accomplished courtroom litigator, he is a veteran of numerous lengthy trials. He has been a leader of the litigation and appellate efforts concerning the 2000–2001 Western Electric Crisis, including multiple successful multi-month, billion dollar FERC trials.
Before entering private practice, Stan worked at FERC where he assisted in the development of Order No. 888 and then led the electric Trial Staff in the litigation of cases concerning every utility in the United States.
