Chris Jones represents clients in the energy industry before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and federal courts and leads Troutman Pepper’s award-winning FERC practice. Chris works on high-stakes energy law disputes, cutting-edge issues in evolving energy markets, and a host of legal and regulatory matters involving transmission expansion, energy transformation, and cost allocation. He has particular experience in complex electric transmission matters, transactional support and competition-related issues related to mergers and acquisitions and FERC’s market-based rate program.
