Partner and head of Perrin Myddelton's social housing litigation team. He is an accredited CEDR Commercial Mediator and is a solicitor-advocate, enabling him to appear in the Higher Courts. Simon works on complex cases involving homelessness and anti-social behaviour with a large number of Housing Association and Local Authority clients across England. He represents clients in court seeking possession orders, injunctive relief, demoted orders and exclusion orders. He has also helped with contractual, partnership and agency disputes, professional negligence issues and property related litigation.

Qualified in 1990 with Bennett Taylor Tyrell in the West End. Became a partner at Sherrards in 1998 in the commercial litigation department and jointly headed up the housing department. Qualified as a solicitor-advocate (civil) in 1998 and accredited mediator in 1999. Joined Perrins in 2009 where he jointly headed up the housing litigation department and undertook commercial litigation work. Joined BBMR as joint head of the social housing litigation team in April 2014. Partner and head of social housing litigation at Perrin Myddelton as from September 2016.
Simon has contributed to the Journal of Housing Law and the Solicitors Journal. He speaks on LBC radio on housing issues.
