Sharon Heselton

Head of the private law team at B P Collins, Sharon specialises in probate applications, complex estate administration including intestacies and cross border estates and independent administration of contested estates. Her advice includes the practicalities of administering wills and inheritance tax implications and deeds of variation and demystifying trust terminology.

Several of her clients are high net worth individuals from London and Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire. Sharon is often sought for media comment, having previously spoken in the national media on inheritance tax implications when not married and the Law Commission’s consultations into reforming the laws around Wills.

Sharon is an associate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Sharon is a bereavement volunteer for CRUSE Bereavement Care, which provides free bereavement support to people dealing with grief.
