Sérgio Luiz da Rocha Pombo focuses his practice on Corporate Labour and Employment Law, advising employers on strategic individual and collective litigation, preventive labour advisory work, union relations, collective bargaining, labour risk management and complex employment disputes. With more than 35 years of experience in employer-side labour law, he supports companies on matters involving risk management, labour liabilities, compliance, internal policies and high-impact employment claims.

Career

Founding partner of RPAC Advogados, Sérgio Luiz da Rocha Pombo has built a 35-year career dedicated to Labour and Employment Law, both litigation and advisory, with a business-focused approach. Since the firm was founded in 1995, he has advised employers on strategic labour matters, complex litigation, risk management and preventive advisory work.

His professional career also includes a strong academic and institutional presence. He was a professor at FAE Centro Universitário, coordinated its Law programme and later became Director of the Institute of Legal Sciences. He has also published and contributed to legal works in the field of Labour and Employment Law.

Sérgio has been consistently recognised by Análise Advocacia 500 among Brazil’s most admired labour lawyers, receiving the award for several consecutive years. In 2025, he received the Honourable Mention of the Order of Judicial Merit of the Araucárias from the Regional Labour Court of Paraná, consolidating his standing within the legal community.
