Selma Talic advises clients across the FinTech, technology and startup landscape, combining a strong corporate-law foundation with several years of hands-on experience in Liechtenstein’s leading boutique for blockchain and financial-market regulation. In her FinTech and regulatory practice, Selma supports clients in navigating payment-services rules, digital-asset models, alternative financing mechanisms and platform-based business models. Her work includes business-model structuring, licensing and notification filings, as well as the development of AML/KYC and compliance frameworks. A key strength lies in translating regulatory complexity into clear, workable solutions that enable confident innovation.
Alongside her regulatory work, Selma advises on the full range of corporate matters, including incorporations, governance structures, shareholders’ agreements, reorganisations and foundation setups. She also supports founders and investors in venture-financing processes, including SAFEs, convertibles and seed-to-Series documentation. Career
Selma Talic completed her law degree at the Leopold-Franzens-Universität Innsbruck (2015–2019), followed by a legal internship at the Princely Court of Liechtenstein in 2019.
From 2020 to 2024, she worked as a trainee and subsequently as an attorney in a leading boutique law firm in Liechtenstein recognised for its strong focus on FinTech, blockchain regulation, corporate law and financial-market advisory. During this time, she gained extensive experience advising international companies, regulated financial institutions and technology-driven ventures on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance and innovative digital business models.
Since 2024, Selma has been practising independently, continuing to specialise in FinTech, financial-services regulation, digital-asset structuring and corporate advisory work for startups, founders and cross-border enterprises.
