Career
Scott St. Marie has practiced mediation, arbitration and construction litigation for over 40 years, involving a wide variety of construction and surety disputes in many states across the country. For the last decade, Scott's practice has been devoted exclusively to acting as the resolver in the mediation and arbitration of construction disputes, along with service on a contract review board. He has a deep familiarity with the design and construction process, and with the many different forms of project agreements that govern the rights and responsibilities of project participants. Scott's substantial experience as a mediator of complex construction disputes is informed by decades of practice representing all the potential sides in construction matters—owners, contractors and subcontractors, sureties, engineers and architects.
