Sasha Lal is a Solicitor specialising in UK immigration and nationality law.

• Assisting an UHNW client with varying an ILR application to LTR on the Investor route due to the individual not meeting the investment criteria

• Submitting an urgent application to switch the client to the Global Talent route and successfully obtaining ILR.

• Assisted with representations to the Home Office for someone who’s Settled Status was being challenged by the Home Office due to not physically being in the UK prior to 31 December 2020, successfully proving the Home Office was in error.

• Securing a Skilled Worker visa for an individual who was a majority shareholder of a company and whose leave as a Dependent had expired. The application was made in-country.

• Successfully obtained a new licence for the company and maintain their sponsored employees by carrying out an extensive urgent audit with the company to check their compliance duties and obligations and providing the Home Office with an extensive explanation as to how the company had rectified their systems

• Assessing whether creative professionals would be permitted to enter the UK on a Visit visa or require a UK Work visa within a limited timeframe.

• Filing an out-of-time application under the EU Settlement Scheme with little documentary evidence.

• Submitting a Creative Worker visa application for an individual who had overstayed in the UK and worked whilst on a Visit visa.

• Successfully obtaining a Business Visit visa for a VIP who had criminal convictions.

• Securing a Visit visa for a client who had previously faced refusals.

• Assisting a client with obtaining ILR despite exceptional absences.
