Sangmyoung Shin practices in finance law areas, with a focus on project finance, banking and finance, and energy. His experience includes the representation of financial institutions and borrowers in a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including project finance, ECA-backed finance, and corporate loan transactions. He has negotiated transactions in the United States, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia. These include advising KEXIM on the $2.6 billion financing of a coal-fired power project in Indonesia, KEXIM and K-SURE on the $4.7 billion financing of a FLNG project in Mozambique, a Korean sponsor on a BESS project in Ireland, and KEXIM on the $2.5 billion financing of a copper mining project in Chile.
