Practice Areas
Called in 2015, Samuel has 9 years' experience in all aspects of insolvency and company law. His practice is predominantly contentious, and spans litigation across the Business and Property Courts in England in Wales, offshore jurisdictions, and related appeals (including to the Privy Council).
Comfortable with being led or instructed as sole counsel, he is particularly sought out for his experience in director misfeasance and disqualification matters, insolvency officeholder applications, unfair prejudice petitions, winding-up and bankruptcy petitions, and commercial claims (which often involve a corporate or insolvency element). He has also been involved in several restructuring plans under Part 26A of the Companies Act 2006.
Samuel has a particular interest in the intersection of insolvency law with other areas of the law, and has contributed to proceedings in the Family Court, the Crown Court, and the Employment Tribunal.
