Ryan Anderson has a mixed practice in employment, civil and housing law.
In his employment law practice, Ryan is instructed by both claimants and businesses and has a busy Employment Tribunal practice including regular multi-day trials. His employment law expertise includes claims concerning:
• unfair/constructive and wrongful dismissal (including redundancy)
• discrimination
• TUPE
• whistleblowing
• health and safety matters
• wages claims
• working time
• employment/worker status
• contractual matters including restrictive covenants
• procedural and jurisdictional issues such as strike out, amendments, limitation, specific disclosure, costs, reconsideration and restricted reporting orders
• enforcement.
Thanks to his extensive employment and housing law practices, Ryan has a deep level of knowledge and experience in relation to Equality Act 2010 claims on behalf of claimants and defendants/respondents.
Ryan takes on pro bono employment cases via the Work Rights Centre and Advocate.
Before coming to the Bar, Ryan worked as a High Court Judicial Assistant as well as marshalling for judges in the Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Appeal Civil Division.
