Rusa Tchkuaseli joined BLC in 2009 as a paralegal and was promoted to Partner in 2023. Her practice focuses on general business and corporate law, banking and finance, commercial arbitration, and litigation. She advises clients on complex corporate and commercial matters, structuring of international investments, and financial transactions, including capital markets deals. Rusa has extensive experience in complex international commercial arbitrations under the rules of the ICC, SCC, and LCIA, as well as in investor–state disputes before ICSID. She holds a specialization in Maritime Shipping and Chartering from the University of Oslo (Norway).
Prior to joining BLC in 2009, Rusa interned at a leading Georgian law firm and participated in multiple international legal competitions.
In addition to her legal practice, Rusa is a former President and current accredited member of the Georgian Association of Arbitrators (GAA). She is also a member of the Georgian Bar Association (GBA) and the Association of Law Firms of Georgia (ALFG).
