Work Highlights
Negotiated the terms of a prenuptial agreement which involved French assets. I acted for an English client whose fiancé was The parties were living in England then but were considering relocating to France. I liaised closely with French lawyers to ensure the prenuptial agreement would be appropriate in both jurisdictions.
Acted for a husband in divorce and financial remedy proceedings. The husband was focused on protecting his family business, and significant issues surrounded the value of the husband’s shares. We reached a settlement that did not involve the sale of the husband’s shares, and the lower value was attributed to his shares for negotiation.
Acted for a mother and successfully obtained a prohibited steps order preventing the children’s father from removing them from the jurisdiction. We agreed to a child arrangements order with limited contact to minimise the risk of abduction and creative safeguards to ensure the children would remain in England.
Acted for a father who was successful in opposing the mother’s international relocation application. Mother had applied to relocate internationally with their child. Advised the father throughout the contested proceedings and at the final hearing, after evidence, mother agreed to withdraw her application and new contact arrangements were agreed.
