Romina Santroni Parsons is a founding partner of the firm and leads its Environmental and Regulatory practice, advising on investment projects across real estate and resort development, food and beverage, industrial, and film and entertainment. She has built her career around environmental law, land use, and sustainability, designing strategies that allow major investment projects to achieve both regulatory feasibility and long-term sustainability.

She has represented more than 70 projects involving tax exemption approvals and comprehensive licensing processes, covering investments exceeding US$2 billion. Her core areas of practice include tourism and special tax regimes (Confotur), complex environmental permitting, protected areas and polluted sites, urban and land-use planning, water rights, waste, ESG and IFC standards for financing.

Career

She holds a law degree from the National University of Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires, Argentina (2001), a master’s in environmental law from the University of the Basque Country, Spain (2010), and a postgraduate certificate in Executive Development from Barna Business School. She is a Registered Environmental Consultant before the Dominican Republic's Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, serving as coordinator of environmental impact assessments, and is a certified ISO 14001 Internal Auditor (Bureau Veritas).

As Legal Director of ECORED, the business association promoting sustainability among Dominican companies, she led the drafting of proposed waste legislation currently under discussion in Congress. She is co-author of Legal Protection of Tourists (Buenos Aires, Ed. Ladevi, 2018) and has contributed to publications including the Environment and Climate Change chapter of the International Comparative Legal Guide, among other papers on environmental management.
