Rodrigo Menezes

Rodrigo Menezes has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity, advising clients in their investment processes and the purchase and sale of companies.

Rodrigo is a lawyer who leads multidisciplinary teams in M&A processes, working in the preparation and negotiation of share purchase and sale agreements, shareholder agreements, investment agreements, guarantee contracts, stock option plans, implementation of corporate governance policies, among other documents. It also advises clients on regulatory issues related to the capital market and constitution of funds.

Participates as a speaker in several seminars and symposia organized by AMCHAM, FGV, FINEP, USP, Anjos do Brasil, ABVCAP, Endeavor, SSD, IBC, and ADPO, highlighting the Americas Venture Capital Conference 2010, held in Miami – the U.S, organized by Florida International University.

He is the author of several articles published in Brazilian and foreign media, including the Venture Capital Chapter for Brazil, of the PLC Handbook (Practical Law Company) in 2011 and 2012, a reference in the world legal market, and several articles in the Capital Open.

Representation of several foreign industrial groups in acquisition and divestment operations in Brazil and Latin America, in operations of up to R$700 million, in the most diverse industry segments (energy, entertainment, technology, cosmetics, basic industry, pharmaceuticals, hospital, among others).

Structuring of several investment funds for the acquisition of shares in companies.

Advising the main Brazilian cosmetics company in its IPO.
