Robin Zeidel

Robin Zeidel, the founder and sole owner of Zeidel & Associates P.C., is a skilled transactional attorney with depth and breadth of experience in the hospitality and real estate sectors. Her clients appreciate her ability and understanding of how to efficiently advance transactions, using creative yet practical solutions that achieve their short and long-term goals.

Robin founded Zeidel & Associates P.C. to provide clients with the capabilities and benefits of working with a large firm with the service and pricing of a boutique. Her practice is exclusively transactional, with a focus on all sectors of commercial real estate (office, industrial, and retail) and hospitality, including hotels, restaurants, and bars. She is retained by national, regional, and local companies to handle development, sales, acquisitions, and leasing deals, as well as agreements with architecture firms, construction companies, and other vendors. Robin also regularly crafts and negotiates hotel management, franchise, and branding agreements, as well as operating and licensing agreements for food and beverage, spas, and other hotel amenities and services, for properties all over the world.

Prior to establishing Zeidel & Associates in 2010, Robin served as Assistant General Counsel at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., which was subsequently acquired by Marriott International. Robin began her legal career in the New York office of Stroock and other preeminent New York City firms, where she practiced real estate law, representing owners, developers, retailers, office tenants, lenders, and borrowers in a variety of transactions.

Robin currently serves as a board member of the Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys. She has been named for inclusion in Best Lawyers in Leisure & Hospitality Law and the New York Metro Super Lawyers in Real Estate Law and has earned an AV Preeminent® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. She is a member of Female Founders in Hospitality, a global network of entrepreneurial women who are building companies in the travel and hospitality industry and previously served on its original Steering Committee. She is also a former member of the Steering Committee of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Real Estate Committee. Robin is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association, and she serves on the board of the UJA Federation, Westchester Business & Professional Division.

Robin graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn Law School in 1997 and obtained her B.A. cum laude at Vassar College in 1990. She lives in Westchester County, New York.
