Roberto A. Jacchia, co-founding partner of the firm, leads the Competition and Intellectual Property teams.
Roberto’s main areas of expertise are European Union law, pharmaceutical and regulatory law, IP rights, constitutional and international law, and human rights.
In the recent years, Roberto represented numerous multinationals, in particular of the pharmaceutical, food & beverage and gaming industry, in cases and legal issues of regulatory, antitrust and IP law.
He has experience in litigation, also before the Administrative Courts, the Italian Supreme Court, the Council of State and the Constitutional Court.
Professional Memberships
He is a member of the Italian Antitrust Association (AAI) and the author of several legal publications. In the past, he was engaged in teaching activities at University of Genoa, University of Salerno, Catholic University of Milan, thereafter maintaining close relationships with the academic community.
Work Highlights
He has been in charge of the defense of large undertakings in cartel and abuse cases, private enforcement actions, as well as proceedings before the European Commission, the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
