Robert Hovey

Robert has an established and varied personal injury practice, acting for both pursuer and defender firms. He is instructed in all areas of personal injury litigation including road traffic accidents; employers’ liability; public liability; occupiers’ liability; foreign travel; and industrial disease.

Robert is regularly instructed in complex and high value actions including actions arising from historic abuse, fatal road traffic accidents, and catastrophic injuries. He has a particular interest in cases concerning chronic pain conditions.

Robert has extensive experience appearing in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and has experience in the Court of Session and Sheriff Appeal Court. He is regularly instructed to appear in the procedural courts, evidential hearings, and has considerable experience representing parties at settlement meetings.
