As Co-founder and Managing Director of LGFL Ltd, Rita has extensive experience in all areas of family law She has particular expertise in complex divorce and separations, and achieving long-term financial settlements involving SEND children. Career
Rita became interested in family law while training at IBB solicitors. Once qualified, she developed her expertise in children law and domestic violence cases. In 2008, Rita and Anne Leiper formed LGFL LLP (now LGFL Ltd), a respected forward-thinking boutique law practice with clients across the UK and abroad.
Rita takes a holistic and strategic approach to divorce and separation. She regularly shares her legal insights on national TV and radio including BBC Radio 5 Live, in magazine articles, on the Law Society blog. She has many followers on social media, including on TikTok for her helpful videos for young lawyers. Rita speaks conversational Punjabi and Hindi and is a tutor for MBL webinars.
