Richard Zhang has extensive litigation and practice experience and has been focusing on shipping, data compliance, foreign-related commercial and insurance cases since he started practicing. He is specialized in handling maritime disputes such as cargo damage, bills of lading and charter parties, shipbuilding and repairing, collision, general average, and salvage at sea; international trade disputes such as international sale of goods and letters of credit; insurance disputes such as hull & machinery insurance, cargo insurance, complex property insurance, engineering insurance, liability insurance, credit insurance, etc., as well as data compliance due diligence, rectification and other data compliance work. He is a multi-disciplinary lawyer who always has a forward-looking and ground-breaking view of the current external environment for corporate data compliance.

Richard Zhang has successfully handled a number of cross-border commercial disputes and has represented clients in major and complex cases before the High Courts and the Supreme Court of PRC.
