Richard Hornshaw is a partner in Akin Gump’s litigation group. He primarily acts for investment firms and a range of other financial institutions on high-value, complex and cross-border disputes and focuses his practice on finance and securities law matters, as well as distressed debt, insolvency and restructuring situations and shareholder activism. He has experience in conducting and resolving disputes—both in arbitration and litigation—in the United Kingdom and elsewhere around the world. Now based in London, Richard spent two years practising in Hong Kong and is also qualified as a Hong Kong solicitor.
