Richard is a partner at Brinkhof who specialises in conducting European patent litigation. As a lawyer and UPC representative, he advocates the interests of primarily international companies before the UPC and the national patent courts in Europe, including in The Hague. Richard has gained international respect for his balanced coordination of parallel patent proceedings in Europe, the US and the EPO. Richard is fluent in German, English, French, and Italian which has proven and is proving to be a valuable asset in the international patent arena and in particular before the UPC, an international forum.
